Well, I have had all sorts of Companions so far, First, one American,
Second, Half Japanese, Third, from Argentina, Forth, Japanese!!!
It's crazy! But I've learned a lot from all of them, which has really
helped me!!
So this week was transfer week! I said bye to Grecco Shimai, and met
my new Companion!! Uchimura Shimai! She is from Tokyo, and is way
awesome!
on Wednesday, we went to the park to meet up with Shizuka Shimai and
her kids, and their friends, and played with them!! I also taught them
cool things they could do on the swings! Aka, things people do in
America!! They thought it was so interesting!!
(thursday) We started out the week by going on a companion exchange,
because Uchimura shimai and Foote Shimai (a shizuoka Shimai) had a
Missionary leadership conference! So I went to Shizuok with Sakamoto
Shimai!!
We had a awesome Mogi lessons, that night!
The next day it was raining super hard and being me....(again) I
didn't bring my Kapa! We had a lot of Appointments that day, so there
was a lot of biking, in the rain... without a kapa.... But It was all
good!! I was just super soaked and cold! But all our lessons went
really well!! I've learned a lot from Sakamoto shimai!! If you need a
scripture for anything, she has about 10 scriptures that she can just
whip out, just like that!! She uses the Book of Mormon a lot in the
lessons!! Which is way awesome and something I needed to learn to do
more!!
That night, we were waiting for our companions to get back, but the
trains were delayed because of all the rain! So it ended up that we
had to spend the night in Shizuoka, so I was still in cold wet
clothes, and my clothes in my bag getting wet from riding all the way
to the eki in the rain! So I pretty much lived in wet clothes for 1
day in a half! Lesson learned I guess! #Missionlife!
Nothing much really has happened Beside that! A lot of planning and
Cleaning out our apartment!!
But, I am really excited for this new transfer! I know that the Lord
has put us together in Fuji for a reason!! And I am so excited to
Learn and Grow as a missionary, learning new things and learning
Japanese even better with the Help from the Lord and from Uchimura
Shimai!!
Scripture/Thought of the Week:Matthew 5:14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a
candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Always let your light shine so that whoever sees you will shine also!
Always looking with a brightness of hope!!
Sorry, still not clever with words, but hopefully you got what I was
going for!! We can All be missionaries, even if we aren't anymore, or
never was one before! We can all share the Light of the Gospel to
Everyone!!
I love you all!!
-Stay Shimai!

1. Sakamoto Shimai
2.My awesome companion and I trying Mugi Soda! (it's way gross...)
3. My MTC Companion and I at the Golden Clock for transfers!
