Hello Lovely people of my social circle! This week has been amazing!
It started off by us going on a Koukan (companion exchange!) on Wednesday, because my companion had a leadership meeting! So I was here (takabata) with the other sister that just got to Japan a week ago! We visited a Shimizu Shimai, a member, and had a really interesting lesson with her! Then after, we were heading back saw these girls siting on the edge of a wall holding a clarinet and a French horn! So I turned to Durrant Shimai, and said I wanted to talk to them! So we went down and talked to them and I asked them if they could play for us! SO they did! It sounded really good! I then told them who we were and invited them to eikaiwa! (english class) Then while we were walking away, they asked if they could get a picture with us!
Friday, we had DTM (district training Meeting), which was all in Japanese!
Later, we decided that we wanted to visit Geraldine, our investigator, who lives about a hour and a half away! So we went all the way there when it started raining! But that didn't stop us! We got there, but she wasn't home yet, so we visited some less actives around and then came back and she was home! Then Lyle, a member who lives with Geraldine, came home from work, and we had a wonderful lesson about the importance of Baptism, and how it is preformed! It went SO well!
Saturday, we had a relief society Scrap booking activity, and had lots of people come!
After, we went back all the way to Geraldine and Lyle's! And taught about the importance of keeping the Sabbath day holy!! It was way awesome! We also found out that she hasn't drunken coffee for a couple days now! Which is really good, because she considers herself addicted to it! We are so happy for her!! Her and Lyle also promised to come to church on Sunday! After we met with them, we met with Chie Shimai! She is way awesome! She plays the piano, and she also said she has been playing the ukulele recently with her band! She played for us, then she let me play it! It was so much fun! I love her!!
Sunday was crazy! We had Church, which Lyle, Geraldine, and Chie Shimai all came! Had a wonderful Sunday school meeting, then relief society! Then, it got crazy! We went on splits, Where Carey Shimai, and Chie Shimai, went to visits a less active, and I stayed at the church, for ward council, and to help the relief society with a song they have been practicing for 6 months now! And I kept getting passed to different Shimai, so I wouldn't be alone! It was very crazy!
SPIRITUAL THOUGHT OF THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!
James 1: 5-6
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
If we have Faith, then we should not have doubt, because you can't have both! Faith replaces Fear! Only if we act on our faith, will God give us our Answer!
I love you all so very much!
