Anywho! This week has been really good! We got our new teacher this Last Monday, her name is Carlial Shimai, She is so sweet and I felt really motivated to learn Japanese!! I feel bad for her though, because our Choryo tachi aren't giving her the respect she deserves! But She is seriously so Sweet!! So with her we are now teaching her as her investigator! She is acting like Nozomi Shimai! We taught her for the first time yesterday and we told her that God is our Loving Heavenly Father and we are his Children! She said "Hontoni??" Which means Really?? She thought it was cool that we are actual children from a loving Heavenly Father!! Then we proceeded to teacher her about prayer!! and we got her to Pray for us!!! It was really simple but It was great!! We asked her how she felt and she told us she felt peace! We commited her to pray everyday!! So we will see when we teach next time!
Also yesterday we Did our TRC(Like family home evenings...) with ACTUAL NIHONJIN!!!! (japanese people) Through Skype!!! It was so fun!! We taught about families... but it was hard because he just got Divorced recently, and in part of our lesson Sorensen Shimai was going to explain how a family is like a team and you can't go through life with out them! But Sorensen Shimai felt prompted to teach him that Everyone is on a big team and that everyone is like a family!! But it went Well!! On our sunday Devotional I forgot his name, but he told us to never assume anything! And I thought that was a good lesson to know that we never know what the people are going through or what might be happening, that's why it is so important that we follow the spirit!!
Another thing Yesterday..... We GOT NEW KOHAI!!!! New Missionaries Going to Japan!! YAY!!! I'm so excited for them!!
Okay Drum Roll Please!!...Tuesday We got to hear from..........ELDER OAKS!!!!!!!AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!And Oh my!! It was so Good!!!! He taught so much about Really following the Spirit and how important the Sacrament is! He said that The sacrament prayer should be engraved in our hearts! And I think it is now kind of hard to do that now, because I hear it in japanese! But I really want to try to learn it and Engrave it on my heart!! It was so good!! I just Love Oaks Choryo and Oaks Shimai!! It was so good!!!
Well that is about It!! I love it here so much!! I can't explain how excited I am to be on a plane in 2.5 weeks to teach Actual Investigators!! well I love you all so much!! Aishiteimasu!!!!!!
-Stay Shimai!
