Konshu!
For America: Happy Groundhogs Day!! Yay for Early spring!!
For Japan: Happy Setsubun!! (A traditional Japanese holiday, where you
throw beens at people, out the window, and in your house!) Weird,
right?
This week was really good!! It started out on Tuesday were we were
going through the records and deviding all the active and non- actives
from each other! When all of the sudden we got a call from Nishie
Shimai, to see if we wanted to go get Ice cream! We agreed, and we
ended up going Grocie shopping!! LIES!! she gave us a cart, and told
us get whatever we wanted, then she had a basket and just started
shopping too! so we got what we needed Then by the end she had a full
basket, and said that it was also for us!! By the end we had 6 big
full bags of groceries!! And a big bag of rice!! It was so sweet!!
Then we got 31 Ice cream!! "get Ice cream, they said, it would be fun
they said" They are so Kind!! They love helping the missionaries!!
On Thursday, we were about to make Lunch when all of the sudden we get
a call from the Uematsu's (a less active couple) and they invited us
to go get ramen! They took us to a really good Ramen restaurant, We
shared a message with them and they seemed really happy! Then Uematsu
Shimai wanted us to see the beach, so we went and walked around the
beach!! It was so much fun!!
On Friday night we taught one of our investigators, Sato San.
Previously we gave her a Book of Mormon, and she tried to give it back
to us, but we told her that it was hers and how she should read it!
haha! But other than that, we had a really good lesson, we talked
about who God was and told her how to pray!! I felt the spirit so
strong as we taught her how to pray! We asked if we could come back to
teach her more, and she agreed! so Today(monday) we are going over to
her house with Nishie Shimai!!
On Saturday, We taught Matsubara san again!! She is so great!! We
talked to here more about Gods love, and how he love's everyone and
that he can help us with anything we are going through! we didn't get
a chance to talk about prayer but hopefully next time!!
Sorry, I don't have a lot of time left so this wasn't as long!
But here is the Scripture of the week!
John 15:7
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye
will, and it shall be done unto you.
I know that God really does answer our prayers!! Even though he might
not answer it how we want him to, He will always answer us how we need
it! I have loved being able to be on a mission and really gaining a
testimony of that sense I have been out! And I love it!!
The Church is true!!
I love you all so very much!! and I hope y'all are doing awesome!
-Stay shimai
