But, I.... Am... Going..... To.....
AHHHH!!!!! I'm leaving Fuji!!! Yesterday was really hard saying
goodbye to everyone! I've been in Fuji for 5 months and they are like
family!! It's so crazy! I'm going to miss everyone so much!! But I
know that I am called to Takabata for a reason! Takabata is actually
Sister Sorensens Bean area! I'm replacing her! (She's my MTC
companion!) so I've heard stories and seen pictures from there, and I
couldn't be more excited!! I also can't believe that I am going to be
transfer 5! Where has the time gone? I feel like I am still just a
bean! But I love being here in Japan and sharing the Joy that I have
from the Gospel! Uchimura Shimai is staying in Fuji and is getting
some one from my doki (left the same time I did to Japan!) and my new
companion is Carey Shimai! She is from New Zealand! So I've had a
companion from everywhere!
Well yep! Takabata is in Nagoya, and is really close to the honbu!
Love you all!
Tuesday, we first visited with Endo San, a PI, and talked outside her
apartment! We talked about God and that we can communicate to him
through prayer! It was good! Then later, We went with the Uematsu's, a
less active couple, to a park in the mountains, for a plum festival!
And we got really awesome pictures of Mnt. Fuji! Then shared a
scripture and thought with them! Later that night we had sports night,
and two of the Elders PI's showed up again!
Wednesday, we went on a koukan with the the Shizuoka Shimai! I went to
Shizuoka with Foote Shimai! Her OYMing (open your mouth) is CRAZY!! We
ride, then she yells out the color of someone's shirt, or a object
they are wearing and I have to stop them while she stops someone else!
It was fun but scary at the same time! Later that night, we met with
one of their investigators that I've met twice already! She is way
awesome! We talked about what we pray for, and how prayer has helped
us in our life! Then also talked about the importance of prophets! She
is awesome! I love her!
Saturday was transfer calls!!! Wow!
Ishii kaicho called us and told Uchimura Shimai that she is staying in
Fuji, and I am going to Takabata with Carey Shimai! IM LEAVING MY BEAN
AREA!!!!!!! I love Fuji!! The people here are family! But I know I'm
supposed to be in Takabata and am really excited to serve the people
At night, we went with the YSA to Yakiniku (where you cook your own
meat right in front of you!)
It was so fun!
Sunday, was really hard! I had to say goodbye to everyone! (Probably
one of the hardest things I've done on my mission!) (just kidding) but
really! The Fuji Ward is like family! I've grown so close to so many
After Church, Ito Shimai wanted to meet with us. So we went to the
Church and she gave me a necklace she made! She is the sweetest!!!!
Then later we had our last dinner appointment with Hasegawa Shimai!!
She always tells missionaries who are transferring "there is someone
waiting for you! You have to go find them!" And it's so true!
Sorry for the short email, it's been a busy day, but I will end in a
thought like always!:)
4.Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a
better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope
cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would
make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being
led to glorify God.
Love you all!
