This week was awesome!
We had a Great lesson with one our investigators, Miki! We are doing the 30/30 program with her, and we asked if she had prayed from the previous lesson but said she didn't, so we asked if we could pray together, and she said it! It was really simple! But it's the simplest things that will bring big things into some ones life! Our whole message was about Christ, and the many things that he did! And how much he loves us!!
On Tuesday we had a mission tour! Elder Choi from the 70 came and spoke to us! I learned a lot! Like how if you don't like Nato, then... Like it! It will show our love to the Japanese people! And how we should sing hymns in the shower! :)
There were so much other things that were way good! Like the goals we make will help strengthen and build your faith! It is so important to make goals, and to do everything that you can do to make those goals! And God will help you reach them! I also love a part where he said OYM (open your mouth) is not a missionary practice, it is a member practice!
Every member is a missionary!
On Saturday we visited with a less active, Mochizuki Shimai! We got to her house as soon as she was walking up to it! She invited us in and we just talk for a while! We found out she was baptized over 20 years ago, and her son has been married in the temple! It was cool! We shared D&C 25:12
12 For my soul delighteth in the song of the heart; yea, the song of the righteous is a prayer unto me, and it shall be answered with a blessing upon their heads.
Then asked if we could sing her I am a Child of God! We sang and she sung the last chorus with us! It was really powerful! We asked if we could pray together, and asked is she would say it! She said it but forgot to address Heavenly Father, and end in Christ name! After Amen, she said she forgot how to pray, so we re taught her how to pray! But I loved her faith to pray, even though she forgot! She could have told us no, but she willing offered to pray!
After we had a really good lesson with Lyle and Geraldine! We talked about how the Book of Mormon is the key stone of our religion! They both have so much faith and such great testimonies! I love going over there and seeing them both grow so much!
I already shared D&C in the email, but we have been sharing it then singing for people! The spirit that comes from singing good songs can really influence those around you! I have loved having a companion that loves singing and music, it's been great!
Love you all so much!
