I never know how to start these.... So Herro?
This week we had a lot of wonderful Mogi (role play) Lessons with
members! There was one where she kept telling us that we don't need to
be fluent in Japanese to touch people's hearts, and that her
Missionaries didn't really know Japanese, but that is exactly what she
needed! Also in all the lessons we had with members, we gave them a
Book of Mormon so they can write their testimonies in it and we
challenged them to give it to someone! Or if they didn't know, then we
would give it to someone for them! Everyone decided that they wanted
to find someone themselves besides one member, but she wrote on two
books of Mormons for us to give! We are excited to find out soon if
they did give it to someone!
I also went on a Koukan in Takabata on Friday! It was just like old
times with Knowles Shimai! お久しぶりですね! We got to visit with one of my
favorite people, Yui Shimai! We taught her a After Baptism lesson
about lesson 3! The Gospel of Jesus Christ!
It was grand! We also OYM this one girl, who knew a Less active! And
she said that she wants to meet them again! So they exchanged phone
numbers and they are going to meet her this week! We also met this
really nice old lady, who we talked to for a while and she was so
grateful we were there just to talk to her! Gods timing is really
perfect!
On Saturday we had a concert in Meito, and we got to sing for their
Natsumatsuri! Summer festival! We also had Jackie and her husband to
come! They loved it! I also got to see Miki! A really sweet
investigator in Takabata! It was a lot of fun!
Yesterday, we had so many people come to Church! We had Jackie and her
husband come, we had one of our investigator come with her two
children and her Grandma! We had the sweet Peruvian less active Family
come! It was really awesome!
Asuka, our investigator, and her Grandma came to Gospel principles
with us, while her kids went to primary! And they were so confused, so
the third hour we decided to teach them a lesson, and we answered
their questions! The grandma really wanted to know more, so she
downloaded the Gospel library app! Then after the lesson, Asoka said
that we had a baptismal font! We showed it to her! And she was just
Amazed! They are going to come to church in two weeks! They are also
coming to lure summer festival!
This week, I've learned a lot! I've learned how important it is to be
bold! I have struggled with that so much! I often get discouraged of
not knowing the language well enough, and getting afraid of making
mistakes! But during DTM, we talked about being bold! And there was a
question that was said that I will never forget! It was, "What would
you do right now if you weren't afraid?" We are here to be bold! What
is bold today, will not be bold tomorrow! That kind of hit me like a
ton of bricks! And I need to over come my weaknesses and be a bold
missionary! 頑張ります! I also learned that even though I won't be a full
time missionary with a tag forever, I still want to be a life time
member missionary! I want to share what I believe with people I meet!
Everywhere! 3Nephi 5:13
13 Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have
been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they
might have everlasting life.
I love you all and hope you have a wonderful week!

1.Sorry I forgot this last week! But this is when we got housed!
2. Had lunch with Megumi Shimai! And had a lesson! She is a angel!
3. Met a sumo wrestler!
4. I fell off my bike! Not as bad as when I was a bean! But my
companion still rode off and didn't hear me, so I had to whistle to
her... Yep! I'm okay though! No huge injuries!
5. The cutest baby!
6. Yui Shimai! In Takabata!
7. We made these eikaiwa fliers for the elders because they can't ride
bikes right now because one of the elders endured his knee!
Videos: the come thou fount we only practiced once before the actual concert!
