Well I survived my first transfer!! Yay!
Well we were reflecting on this transfer, and we came to realize that
we have found a investigator each week! So that's really cool!
On Tuesday we cleaned the Baptismal font! It was a lot of fun!
I've learned how important it is to love the people we either meet on
the street, the members, or our awesome investigators, charity is the
pure love of Christ! Even though we might not know how to speak the
language or we might not feel confident in teaching, if we truly love
the people around us, then they can feel Gods love through us! Only
if we first do all we can on our part, then the Lord will do the rest!
Good news! A few weeks ago we taught a less active and ever sense
then, he has been coming to church! And we got Nakajima Shimai,
another less active who lives really far and owns cows, and is hard
for her to come because there is no one to watch her farm, to come to
part of stake conference! She come to half of it, but she came! She
really wants to go to church, but she live to far away, and it costs a
lot to get someone to watch the farm for her! But she is way cool!
Also our Halloween was on the same day as a training conference, so we
skyped in. It was crazy. But for the Halloween party we made a really
cool maze out of futon sheets, chairs, tape, and yarn! It turned out
really well!
We played lots of games and we taught them how to trick or treat! It
was a lot of fun!
On actual Halloween..... We got transfer calls...... They normally
only call IF you are having a transfer, and.... We got a call!! No!!
They told me first, I am staying in Fuji and my new companion is
Grecco 姉妹. Then Patrick 姉妹 is leaving and is being put into a 3人! So
we both were on the ground in tears! WORST DAY EVER! It was a hard
day! We tried to make it better by going to Baskin Robbins with the
elders, because it was 31% but we were still sad! Also Elder Decker is
leaving, and Elder Anderson is getting a Bean chan! So...... Yeah.....
There was a lot of crying...... And I don't cry..... We are still
trying to comprehend it all! I lost my trainer! But I know that the
Lord has a reason for everything, we just need to trust him!
Also the same day we met with this girl we met while OYMing earlier
this week! She is so cool! We went out to dinner with her, and she
asked us some really cool questions! We taught about who we were and
why we were here! And we followed the spirit, and we taught the plan
of salvation! She seemed REALLY interested! I can't wait to see what
happens with her! She is great!
I also learned this whole transfer how important it is to OYM (open
your mouth!) you never know who you will meet! Trust in God and he
will tell you what you need to say! Even though I am struggling with
Japanese, the people are so sweet and they help me try to understand,
and I try to OYM as much as I can, even if I just say hello to them
while I pass them on my bike, most people are just really happy when
someone says hello to them! Try it, just say hello to people! It will
amaze you how many peoples life's you will touch!
Well I love you all and I hope you have a wonderful week! Keep being awesome!
