Hey everyone!
This week has been eventful!
I got a new companion, she is from Argentina, and she learned English
and Japanese at the MTC! Which is funny because I help her with
English all the time! Like the other day, we were reading and she
couldn't say the word mustard, or mountain! Haha, so we spent five
minutes just saying mustard!
I went on a kokan in shizuoka, and the sister I was with, is a
nihonjin and doesn't know Very much English! So I really had to put my
Japanese to the test! We had a lesson with one of investigators, which
went really well! The next day, we had two more lessons, one with a
less active, and one with a investigator!
We finally went back to Fuji, where one of the members took us
shopping, and bought us a TON of food! It was so sweet of her!
On Sunday, we went to visit a less active at the hospital, a sweet old
lady named Kamio姉妹, but when we were walking to go into the hospital,
a guy who was smoking, stopped us and asked us who we were, we told
him that we were missionaries for the church of Jesus Christ of later
day saints, he said that he heard about it before, and he met with
missionaries a long time ago. We continued talking with him while we
were walking into the hospital, we than asked if he want peso to see
meet with the missionaries again, but he didn't really want to, but
while we were talking we decided to give him a Book of Mormon! We had
a questions of the soul paper in it and told him if he really had a
question and prayed, that he could find his answers by reading the
Book of Mormon! He seemed really excited, and he said he was going to
read it!
I learned that we shouldn't rush through our life's to get somewhere,
because you never know who you might find, and talk to! The Lords
timing is SO PERFECT!!!
Well I continue to love all of you so much! And hope you are having
the time of your lives!
愛しています!
